This simple unit provides safe, convenient, and attractive countertop storage for three Cuisinart blades and three cutting disks. It's designed to be used as stand-alone storage or side by side with Cuisinart's supplemental disk holder. The effective tamper-resistant locking device must be pulled out and twisted 90 degrees to access the cutting tools, and it automatically relocks when the lid is closed. Blades cannot be accessed via the open bottom, and disks can only be removed through the locking top. Moreover, when all three storage slots are occupied, the cutting edges of each disk are completely protected. Each blade holder is shaped to snugly fit its designated blade. High-impact plastic and external surfaces are smooth and curved to facilitate cleaning. --Toni Reineke

I am the happy owner of a Cuisinart DFP-11 Deluxe 11-Cup Capacity Food Processor. My only complaint was storing the blades and disc. I use to store my blades in a drawer and cut my finger not realize that one of the blades was facing upward. This product is perfect for the type of person who likes to keep things organized as well as protected. When I saw this item I knew it would be the wisest solution for my dilemma. It is wonderful to know that my blades are in a safer place and easier to access.

We were so excited when we found this offered. We had been keeping our Cuisinart blades in an old Danish cookie tin (certainly an alternative for the family on a budget). This is wonderful. It keeps the blades within easy reach, while keeping the sharp edges out of the way. Plus, there is a safety catch to keep the lid from opening accidentally. A wonderful accessory to the newly Cuisinart-ed kitchen.

I found this storage item for my Cuisinart Blades and Discs to be both a safe and proper way to keep them orderly. The holder has a safety feature that keeps the lid closed and difficult for children to open. This is a great way to keep those sharp items from being damaged and you can easily see which one you want to use. I would reccomend this item, I was very pleased with it.

I am very happy with the purchase of this item. Without it, we had nowhere to store the blades due to their odd sizes. Also, because of the sharpness of the blades, it's nice to have the child proof opener to prevent any accidents. I would recommend this product to anyone with similar needs.

This is a super convenient item. I don't lock it so messing with the lock is not an issue. The lock could probably be a little more user friendly. It stores everything just great. It keeps the dust off of my Cuisinart goodies. I have another three-blade disc holder too. That one came with my Cuisinart. This one is a must-have.
