| Customer Reviews: FANTASTIC AND FAST!!!! June 6, 2009 S. Carr (Eustis, FL USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I save so much time with this machine! In less than 5 seconds I can grind a cup of pecans to such minute pieces...normally would have taken me over five minutes to accomplish the same. Need to get another as backup for years in the future when I burn this one out!
My only problem is the blade slipped down in the disposal without my knowledge...yep, you guessed it! I am having trouble finding replacement. However, the cost is so inexpensive that to purchase another appliance isn't too bad.
grinder cup cracks with use July 15, 2009 Jedi mom, in VA (VA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have had the spacemaker coffee grinder for about 6 mos. The grinder cup showed signs of cracks at about 4 - 6 weeks. It now has a hole in the side from the result of the cracks. This has NOT been abused in use. And has never been used for anything else but coffee beans. I like the design, but I hope I can find a grinder cup replacement. Which I hope lasts longer.
Clear plastic cracks April 23, 2010 C. Bassford (MARYSVILLE, WA, US) I really enjoy the space saving design of these products. I own the toaster and coffee maker of the same product line. I have used the coffee grinder for about 6 months now and I feel the coffee grinder has a design problem. The clear plastic grinding cup cracked by the end of the first week of usage and has continued to crack more each time I use it. I try to be extremely careful with it and have never dropped it or washed it in the dishwasher. It will crack any way. Don't know of any way to replace it either. Proceed with caution on this one.
Dissapointed in grinder container March 8, 2010 Deborah A. Mangum (Ypsilanti, MI United States) I have only had this for a very short time and wanted it so badly to match my new black and decker coffee maker so I could have fresh ground brewed coffee in the morning. After only a dozen uses the container has numerous cracks in it. Very dissapointed. Can you replace the container and hope for a better one?
Plastic cracking / Updated review June 10, 2009 W. Arnhold (Orlando) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The grinder is not bad, but I wish the motor speed was higher so it will gring finer. Also, the platic bowl is starting to crack after only one wash in the upper rack of the dishwasher.
I bought this in February of 2009. About 6 months ago the device that holds the blade to the motor appreared to be wearing out since it started wobbling, vibrating and making a loud noise. I thought I may have caused this when removing and rattaching the blade for cleaning so I found an online store that sells the bowl and blade and spent $15 for a new one. Well, this one is doing the same thing now. Obviously, a bad design. Save your money. I bought a Krups grinder for $19 and it works much better. It doesn't have the space saving capacity, but I'll give up the 3 inches of space.
