Product Description The Counterforms 2-In-1 Appliance with Oster Fusion Technology BVLB07-L handles the functions of two machines. It mixes liquids like a blender while also performing many common food-processor tasks, such as chopping and pureeing fruits and vegetables. The BVLB07-Z consists of a sturdy base containing a 600-watt motor, a stainless-steel 6-point Star Blade, a large 48-ounce (6-cup) glass blending jar, and a lid with food chute. When fully assembled, it stands 15-1/2-inches tall and has a 7x9-inch oval footprint. The front control panel contains nine push-button switches that provide a full range of blending and processing options. Two preprogrammed settings (Frozen Drink and Food Chop) run specially timed cycles. The remaining buttons (On/Off, Low, Medium, High, Low Pulse and High Pulse) offer more traditional blending options, and a Stop button performs as you might expect.

So Far So Good! April 5, 2009 Julie (Chicago, IL) 32 out of 33 found this review helpful
We just got this blender a few days ago and so far we're loving it! I love that it has presets and the option to do manual blending/chopping. We've made a couple smoothies so far and frozen margaritas, all have turned out perfect! I'll try to do an updated review in about a month or two, after we've really put it to the test! I really love that it has a reverse option to work at getting things blended or unstuck (so far nothing has stuck for us)!
LOVE this blender April 21, 2009 S. Ishii (Utah) 24 out of 25 found this review helpful
I just bought this blender from Costco about 2 weeks ago. Its base is all black though, not stainless steel, and I love it. We had an Oster beehive for about 3 years and then the little metal part on the base that the jar fits over just broke one day. So I started looking at reviews for one that made smoothies really good and I was looking at the Oster Fusion, but then I saw this one at Costco that basically had the same features, at least the reverse blending mode. We have made shakes and smoothies in it with the frozen drink method and it makes them perfect without having to stick a spoon down in and mix it around (we had to do that with the beehive), I will update when I have had it longer, but so far we love it!!
Great blender August 2, 2009 S Oli. (Texas) 15 out of 15 found this review helpful
I bought this blender because it received high reviews from Consumer Reports. It is great. Works well, nice looking, and quiet. Easy to clean also.
The best pre-programmed reversible dream blender we have used. September 5, 2009 porscheman (Cherry Valley, Ca) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
My wife and I cook more than anybody we know, heck we only eat out like one or two time a month so good kitchen tools are highly valued by us. This blender is the best we have found for our everyday needs as it has lots of power and is easy to clean and is also well built. However, the thing that really separates this from the others is the pre-programmed frozen drink feature. More times than not this reverse feature helps blend items that would simply not otherwise blend and break down in other single direction blenders. Some might complain that you can't manually change the direction to reverse, but I say its great to be able to put it in blended mode and walk away while the machines pre-programming does the direction changes, leaving you free to do something else. Two years of heavy and daily usage so far and it still works and looks like new.
Blender bliss August 20, 2009 R. Ek (Fungus Corners, WA USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
We bought this blender when the driveshaft on our 18 year old Oster became so smooth that it wouldn't spin the blades. This new one works perfectly. It is noisy but it finishes the job so quickly that it isn't a problem. Clean up is easy. The blender looks good on the counter top if we forget to put it in the appliance garage.
