Love it! December 19, 2009 Michaela Graham 22 out of 23 found this review helpful
I'm really surprised about all these bad reviews. I initially bought my bullet 2 years ago and have used it blending and cutting all kinds of things. So, when I recently saw this blender/food processor/juicer, I decided to buy it. Having recently started eating raw/vegan, drinking juices, making green smoothies and shredding and mixing all kinds of things, this was perfect timing.
Granted, I've never owned a food processor nor a juicer before, so I can't compare to other machines. But I love this one! I haven't had any problems and I'm using it daily. I haven't had the motor freeze up. Maybe I got lucky, but I've been using it for the past 3 weeks and no complaints at all.
And, no, I'm not associated with the company or a store.

I looked at most of the reviews and to my surprise they are all negative, except for one. First of all, don't buy it online, you are wasting money for shipping, go to nearest Bed Bath & Beyond, they have it there + you can return it anytime you want (just keep the receipt) I purchased this machine from the store, and I LOVE it. I make juice for my kids, and it works just fine, other juicers would waste half of the fruits... This one takes most out of the veggies and fruits, it is not noisy, so your child won't freak out every time you turn it on. I love both shredder and the blender. Just try not to abuse it by leaving it on for a long time or grinding stones.. :) I had a Cuisnart blender and Food processor before ( which, I was told is the best) and without a doubt, Bullet Express is far better. I had to return the Cuisnart, because it would make "burning rubber" smell the second I turned it on, plus was awfully loud!!
And - NO- I am not an advocate for the company...
WOW - Best Thing EVER October 14, 2009 Cody H. (St. Louis, MO USA) 24 out of 51 found this review helpful
I was leary when I seen this on TV in a info commercial and I thought I would give it a try just for the heck of it. I am the one in the family that likes to try anything I see on TV. Let me tell you, This is the best machine I have ever used and to make meals in 8 mins or less is totally awesome. Everyone is tired when we come home from work and this machine makes making diner a breeze. I love the juice machine that comes with it because I can make my fresh juice in a hurry and be out the door in under 5 mins. I can't say enough good things for this item except it is the next best thing in my kitchen and it gets used everyday by everyone in my family. When we are in a hurry this machine makes getting out the door and in the car in under 10 mins. This is just a great machine and it comes with a money back guarantee to back it up.
I Love My Bullet Express February 3, 2010 Eljay (Vancouver B.C.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought the Bullet Express and I have been using it twice daily for approximately six weeks. It does a great job of juicing. I never intended to use it as a food processor or mixer. I purchase a lot of fresh produce and as soon as I am home from the market I wash the produce and then store everything in containers in the fridge, so I am always ready to juice quickly and conveniently. I timed myself for a normal vegetable juicing and clean-up; it took six minutes from start to finish. I find the machine a tad noisy but I don't mind; the health benefits of juicing are definitely worth it.
Haven't tried all of it but it still works!! But Not "The Holy Grail" Of Appliances! January 24, 2010 Shawn C. Korenak (Austin, TX USA) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
OK this is my first time writing a review so bear with me....
I only gave 3 stars because i haven't fully used it.
I feel that the problems some people are having is that they aren't letting the machine do the work, they're forcing it to overwork. I can say i have done that with this a few times and yes it has bogged down but didn't stop because i was smart enough to let off the pressure.
I use the juicer alot it works well removes alot of juice from the fruits it takes 3 small apples cut into quarters to make one 8 oz. glass I bought a dozen apples from wal-mart for $1.75 so the trade off is there compared to buying a single serve juice at the store. I've also tried oranges, grapefruits, and different berries that were frozen but thawed and it extracted a good amount of juice from them even though they weren't fresh and it was cheaper than buying fresh berries.
The cleanup on almost all juicers is a pain and this one is also somewhat but as long as you clean it right away it shouldn't be a problem. also the brush they include for cleaning the basket helps alot. I can clean the entire unit in about 3 minutes.
One thing that feel is a problem is they should have made the spout taller because you can't fit a big glass under it.
My other recommendation is that the mouth for the fruits/veggies should be wider
So my rating for the juicer is 4 stars
The slicer works great wish it would be a little thicker and yes it does throw the food but not across the kitchen probably best if you hold the bowl or container closer to the where the food comes out (can't think of the name for it LOL!)if you are using a smaller one.
Slicer/Shredder get 4 stars
My opinion on the mixing attachment is that alot of times people don't watch what they are doing, (and yes i have done this myself) and they over mix or once again they overload the machine. Use the pulse button if you need to thats why it's there! Never just set it and forget it!
Mixer gets 3 stars because i haven't used it enough.
So my overall opinion is 3 stars for now I'll let you know if anything else changes. But I feel that I wasn't lucky, or that they made one run of these and I got a working one, I bought it a Bed, Bath And Beyond And they said they've been selling them like crazy and haven't had any returned but if I would have a problem, bring it back and they'll take care of me.
So here are my final tips for using this thing:
1. Don't buy it online!!!!
2. Unbox it and check to make sure everything is in there!
3. Read the instructions they tell you what speeds to run the machine at depending on what you are doing. Not everything should be done on high!
4. Keep in mind that until they make robots like Rosie from the Jetsons, There isn't just one product that is gonna replace everything in your kitchen.
And as a side note feel free to hit me up if youre in austin and i'll invite you all over to see the machine in action!
